THE ART OF BELIEF

The recognition of a higher power is highly essential to one’s growth. This page acknowledges the spiritual forces within us. Chosen verses courtesy of Regina Reed for WACS Inc.

Regina's Word of the Moment

Ezekiel 37:9,10

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

I prayed for twenty years but received no answer until I prayed with my legs. Frederick Douglass

May the Winds Reach Us In Time!

Inspired by: Ezekial 37

As we multiply and our numbers become greater
in a covenant with ourselves is where we must place our favor
We must place our neighbor on our level
and recognize our power lies in a united endeavor
We shake at the sound of speakers and leaders
though we find no force to move us when a feeling reaches us
[Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: We are cut off from our parts. 37:11]
We have managed to disconnect ourselves from each other
while the calm before the storm has us at ease in mass numbers
We breathe no air, burying ourselves in despair, death, destruction, and desolation
We must empower ourselves with inner peace making
as we multiply and generations rise
with the wind behind our backs and our feet solid in the soil of pride.
May the winds reach us in time!

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. Nahum 1:7

Silent Cry by B. Watkins

Somewhere a baby is crying
Longing for love and care
But no one is there not anywhere
To relieve the pain
Of a child living in vain

Somewhere a mother is crying
For a child lost and gone astray
She's praying for guidance
To bring her only offspring
Back home she waits

Somewhere a father is crying
Over a child he thought was his
He always longed to have kids
To cradle in his arms
To love and never harm

Somewhere an angel is watching
A family broken and confused
The angel spread wings and prayed
For them to never be abused
And when they joined in prayer
Everything was made new

Now somewhere a baby is smiling
For a parent's love so dear
Now somewhere a mother is laughing
Because her child has returned home
She's overjoyed and filled with cheer
Now somewhere a father is smiling
Because this baby is definitely his
And the child's beauty has
Erased all his tears

May they who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength. Judges 5:31

Celestial Manifestation

Trying times
Designed to blind
Innocent minds
And keep 3rd eyes
Closed

The breeding of fear
Aligned to steer
Away from what’s clear
Maneuvering near
Hopelessness

Struggling lives
Progressing in strides
Within divides
Maintaining with minds
Open

Restructured motives
Driven by forward motions
Towards positive notions
With a 3rd eye focus
Clear

Mama I Thank You

(a tribute to Mama Candace)

Being here was an event for me-
watching all that you went through.
trials and tribulations came your way-
-but the world outside never knew.

Many times you and I would discuss about
the good things our Lord has done-
you’d say to me “don’t worry my child”
with God’s help You will overcome.

You never turned your back on me,
no matter what I said or did-
you loved me when I was right
or wrong but preached to me for God I must live.

It was holiness or the fire, you cut no slack
as though I was your real son or of your blood.
you told me I was chosen by God-
and to get myself into his word

You taught me how to treat people
no matter what they did or said to you,
-to pray for them, love them anyway
You reap what you sew, whatever you do.

Now I have went through chastisement and hurtful times
but you were praying constantly
that the Lord would lead me and guide me
when all I wanted was some sympathy

Today “Mama” I stand here today a better person
I’ll be even better with the aid of the Holyghost-
seeing things from bigger perspective,
pleasing Jesus is what I want to do most

All because you allowed Jesus to use you
you told me your Jerusalem was your home
Mother for this I say “THANK YOU”
You’ll be with me and I’ll never be alone

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?        proverbs 1:22

Pride's Short Ride

Vanity strikes

Interfering with the right

thoughts

Soiled in turmoil

A soul

lost

Sacred origins

Vainglorious in the present

Denying your better being’s presence

That Trojan horse is portrayed to evade suspicion

while excessive addictions seep through the pores of the wicked

The stench is filthy

No charge needed for the guilty

As the wheel turns

In the end

It will be hellfire’s victory

WACS Quote of the Moment

One thing alone I charge you. As you live, believe in life! Always human beings will live and progress to greater, broader and fuller life. The only possible death is to lose belief in this truth simply because the great end comes slowly, because time is long.

When They Carve My Name In Stone

The only thing I've ever owned

no strings attached and no debt to pay

I held on to it with total control

The path I paved through countless days

sleepless nights, restless hours, and weary minutes

A story worth words unspoken and unscathed

in the name of liberation

They will carve my name in a stone made for me

yet I am not in a grave

my spirit flies

Remembrance floats so high

that it trickles down

to the many who won't ask why

They will simply accept the presence

of a soul manifested

in the form of a lesson and a blessing

Heavenly I will sit

promoting the gifts of the future

as I did in my present day life maneuvers

When they carve my name in stone

let it be known

Just incase they thought wrong while I was in the physical form.
