We would like to thank you all for you continuous support. We are fresh off a correspondence hiatus just in time for National Poetry Month. In case you weren’t aware, April is National Poetry Month. On schedule is the first release under the WACS umbrella. Written Against Cultural Stagnation Vol. 1 The Raised Curtain is set to be released early January 2010.
" I’m about the love of art and culture and my idea of Freedom. I’m simply a writer with a purpose here to inspire through my work ethic and be an example of the growth and change I wish to see, thus proving evolution is constant. The main objective for me is to maintain a solid foundation based on love, honor, and respect, our children's futures depend on it. My influences include Langston Hughes, Gil Scott Heron, Booker T. Washington, Emmanuel Kant, Maya Angelou, Tupac Shakur, Paulo Coehlo, to name a diverse few".

Written Against Cultural Stagnation: Vol. 1 The Raised Curtain
By: Anthony Pearson
This is a short journey through the thought process of a young Black male from Irvington, NJ. The objective is to express my thoughts on a range of topics which I feel are relevant to our everyday lives in society, through poetry and prose. This is my first published collection displayed in 48 pieces of poetic interpretation in 4 chapters.
